Clicking the 'I'm interested!' button on a job posting signals that you are interested in the company, and want to talk more about the position in person. It is essentially an informal application.
Due to the informality of this application process, there is no need to be concerned about clicking the 'I'm interested!' button on many different job postings that interest you. There is no commitment so go ahead!
What to expect after applying
If a company is interested in talking with you more, they will send you a message. In general, companies respond within three days of you pressing 'I'm interested!' If you have not received a reply after a week, it typically means that the company was not interested in meeting with you.
If you get a message, great! You can organize when and where to meet with direct messages!
